On our first few days in Winter Park, we have been getting reacquainted with the village and the surrounding town. One of the first things we did was get our season adventure passes. Unfortunately, later,  I had a minor bike crash on our family Flume trail ride. I may or may not be able to downhill mountain bike today or tomorrow due to a wrist sprain. Despite my injury I did zoom down the Alpine slide and did flips on the bungee jump. We also took the lift up to Sunspot and played in a patch of snow!  Last night, we biked to a Fourth of July festival at Hideaway Park. We were met with an amazing fireworks show! The bike home in the dark through the forest with all the tall trees and possible animal encounters made me a little uneasy.  I feel like our trip is going to be a blast.
