Alpine, forest, meadow, lake = Jackson Hole! It’s spectacular! We are so lucky to stay with the Carlsons for a couple of days and take in the views from their incredible home. The Tetons are across the meadow and elk come right up to the backyard to graze. Kai and I biked along the new trails to the Wildlife museum and Des joined Gerry’s bike group and did 31 miles. Today we hiked around Jenny Lake and dipped in the cold glacier waters. The weather is perfect, warm, sunny days and cool nights. Kai thinks he could live here forever.

Careful, guys. You’re in the food chain: http://bigstory.ap.org/6b63418d3d81411486d032b3094df8b8

We are very bear aware! None yet but moving out of their ecosystem soon.

We can see why Kai would like to stay there~! I had an art book (hope I still have it) full of that guys wildlife paintings. The water was beautiful and it looked cold but nice enough to take a plunge! I guess it wouldn’t do much good to landscape anything in the yard ?! Just beautiful! Luv, Dad and Carol
